Updated - Saw it.
I would avoid buying refurbished items through this retailer, as it is by chance you get a working product (please reference previous postings with Secondipity). My set of earbuds came with a battery issue, and the left earbud would not fully charge, nor would it hold a charge for very long. They also were missing the medium-sized foam tips.
I bought the XM4s (which I liked a lot), but the batteries failed after the latest firmware update. I would've been happy to just have them replaced, but Allstate just sent $150 to replace them.
That was my first time making an Allstate claim and it was painless. The free return label was a nice touch.

They literally approved the guy's claim so not sure how he's falling for anything.
I suppose if you have a higher end credit card, you end up getting 2 years because they'll typically tack on a year of card-provided warranty for something like this.
The battery thing was unfortunate, but it took me like 20 minutes to submit the claim and drop it off at Staples. Not gonna get some kinda inferior product out of fears of more battery issues. Bring it on I got my Allstate coverage lol.
