Hey whats up Doc? Looks like the open box prices are back to the amount you posted last week! Good chance for those who missed it.

That was the 14-in i7 model, and this is 16-in i5. The 14-in MSRP is $1,049, and this is 849

I picked up the 14-in last week. The first one I got was damaged and disgustingly dirty. The replacement was like new and I'm very happy with it. Thanks for sharing these deals OP!

Can anyone comment on the build quality of this ? Also how does this compare to the Inspiron 16 touch?

Cost-cutting measure as DP 1.4 is offered through the two Thunderbolt ports. Plus this isn't a gaming laptop.

What do you mean by replacement? They replaced it because it was damaged and dirty? Even after the sale ended?

i just picked up the open box good i5 version with 16gb ram. boy the build and screen are definitely outstanding.. initially the screen looked a little weird with being tall , but i got used to the aspect ratio pretty quickly.. Paid $440 + tax and got $20 back in bestbuy gift cert.. so net net $440.. i guess the price dont quickly fall to make the deal crap .. lol

Did they let you pick the replacement Open Box, or staff picked randomly for you?

Thanks for the link... looks like a slicker deal than this one... both 1335U and 1355 are near identical processors...
