I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Yeah I got screwed on the S23U when they never honored the $600 bonus trade in.
If this happens to me, will they let me cancel the whole deal and return s24?

Sorry if this was answered already, but I'm not on a computer at the moment to comb through all the comments. If I were to go through with this offer and only have my currently active phone to trade in, I have to wait without a phone until the S24 releases? I know it's a stupid question, but I'm hoping it's an option to keep your current phone and send it once the S24 is delivered.

I'm at the bottom of the checkout page on Spectrum and see these terms:

"You will receive a prepaid shipping label by email with shipping instructions to send your trade-in device. Assurant needs to receive the old device within 21 days from when you ordered the new device"

Does that mean we only get 21 days after we make the purchase to return and not after we receive the new phone?

its up to you. ship after you received the new phone, test the new phone see if you like it or not. Or ship out sooner for faster refund.

Thanks for the quick response! I may have to jump on this then. My iPhone 8 is on its last leg and I'm tired of waiting for iPhone deals that I can actually get without paying $60/month or more for service.

This is only available to Spectrum internet customers and they are already fleecing their internet customers. Also, if you have their internet, they are offering unlimited mobile phone service for $15 per month, which is good enough of a deal that many people will probably stay on it.
It's by the gig for $15/mo and that price goes up 1/31 to $20/mo. Unlimited is $30/mo (and a free second line for12mo).

so trying to decide on which to get, the 24+ or 24U with the $300.00 difference, Both same size and same screen resolution. I already have the S23U in use,
S24+ with S23 trade-in .. $187 OTD after credit back and you can do the math with the S24U with +$300.00
If you don't use the pen, telephoto, or UWB, there's almost no benefit to the Ultra version. The pen is $90ish of that $300.

Apologies if this has already been answered, but would anybody know if two pre-orders can be placed from the same line or do you need 2 separate lines?
Chat if you need more than 1. The Unlimited $30/mo plan gets you a second line for free for 12mo. Can only preorder 1 phone at a time online, but multiples via chat.

Finally finished reading all 36 pages of comments. Everyone's comments were very helpful.

I just want to mention one thing: While buying this phone, you can also get a new credit card and use this purchase to fulfill the requirement for the welcome bonus. After using a large amount to help complete the welcome bonus for the new credit card, you can change the payment account to a debit card. Then, two months later, request customer service to refund the trade-in value to the debit card. This not only helps complete the credit card's welcome bonus but also allows you to get cash back from the credit card. At the same time, cash back won't be reclaimed when the trade-in value is refunded. Last year, I refunded it to my credit card, so some of my cashback was deducted. However, at that time, I confirmed with customer service that it was feasible to switch to a debit card. This year, I will use a debit card to request the trade-in refund.
Has anyone actually done this debit card switch with spectrum mobile on a previous trade in deal? I might try it as I don't want to lose my Amex offers from this purchase. I did get a refund by "check" on my spectrum Internet account and that arrived as a prepaid credit card that I then transferred to my bank account by ACH. No offense but I don't really trust customer service reps they often make things up and don't know anything at all.

For the $30 for two lines, if you already have a free line, I don't believe they will give you a second one. I had tried to do that during the Pixel 8 Pro promo. I think the best deal is get an iphone 6 for cheap on CL or Offerup and then trade that in. You should be able to get an iphone 6 for around $40. It has a trade in value of $705. That is better than trading a premium phone. Sell your premium phone on CL for more. You only get like $200 more trade in credit for a phone you could sell for $300-$400 more on your own.

So I found an old Samsung Galaxy S4 that is still working, but I had loaded a Custom Rom on it (Lineage OS). Would I be able to trade it in as is and get whatever the credit is and the extra $700 towards the Galaxy S24? I'm not sure if anyone has ever tried this or traded a phone in to Spectrum (Assurant) and they accept it that had Custom Rom and not Original Samsung OS. Thanks for any answers.

use any box and only ship the phone no cable/power cord ... did 6 last year no issues
Was this with Assurant? I have only mailed a trade in once, and I packaged and set a perfect phone and they said it arrived with a shattered screen. I used the exact packaging instructions they gave me.

Has anyone else had this problem with a mail trade-in?

You got a refund through a prepaid credit card? Usually you can't transfer funds from a prepaid credit card to a bank account. How did you do this?
