I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

I already ordered and received one phone under this deal. Trade in phone has been mailed. I would now like to get a second phone. My question (to which I was unable to find a clear answer in the wiki or by searching this thread): I have the lowest $14 1Gb plan at this time. When I place the new order, can I just add the new phone to this plan (if so, how is this done?)? Alternatively, do I need to pick a new $14 1GB additional plan? I do not need much data, so 1Gb plan would be fine even for both phones combined. So if I can pay $14 (or $20 after this month) for both the phones, that will be great. If not, I will take two separate plans which will cost $28 (or $40 after this month). Spectrum will not be my long term mobile provider (already have full year plan with another provider). Please advise. Thanks in advance.
I got 2 of the $14 plans. One for each phone, new phone numbers.

Does the phone come with a sim card tray?

Pulled trigger and was checking out when I got to delivery info page. Phone will only be delivered to address of internet service. That is my mom's place across the country. I pay her spectrum bill. Wish they would ship to the billing address too. Understand the fraud issue but my billing address has been on record as long as my mom has been a customer.

Could have it sent to my mom, resend it to me. But I'm afraid of introducing so many ways for things to go wrong. My mom has also said delivery theft happens in her building too. Oh well, sticking with the old phone for now.
As others have mentioned Spectrum delivery requires signature. It should be safe.
Or you can do in store purchase later when available.

S24 base - yes, there is an empty SIM tray. The phone does not come with a physical sim card. You need to activate the (built-in) esim.

Thanks. I might do the same. However, the price of the $14 plan is going up (to $19, I think), so it might be worth looking at $29 unlimited plan which seems to permit a second line free. I am not sure how it works for existing customers. Someone on this thread may know and hopefully they will chime in.

Wait...what? They don't say ANYWHERE that they require a signature.

That's a big problem when you intended to have your neighbor pick it up for you if you're out of the country.

the trade-in shipping is slow. i got both trade-in "in transit" confirmation email. yet when i checked status, one of them says in transit while the other didn't even say shipped.

High value trade-in both good and bad。 Nervous during wait and dare not open the new phone. If i am going to trade-in an even higher value one, like pixel 9 pro or flip 5, probably better to wait when available in store? Never done store trade-in before. hopefully same deal.

For in person purchase, can I buy the phone? I pay the bill, but my mom is the name on the bill.

Nevermind, closest store is nearly 3 hours away.

A signature is required. I missed Fedex 3 times last time with pixel 8 pro. they ring the bell 3 seconds and hard to hear from 2nd floor

If I am not mistaken, Spectrum doesn't accept in-store trade-ins, which is the reason why they now use a 3rd party for that type of work.

As long the phone you want is in stock then you can do trade-in in store. You get instant credit for the phone.

I believe most is only using them to get the S24 and then take it somewhere else, if paying in full.
