Also, when original order was canceled, I reached out them through chat and the Rep suggested that I place 2nd order without a trade-in and said later trade-in credits can be mapped to 2nd order. I did the same. But now they're saying it cannot be.
If the order gets cancelled, there were no purchases ever made so they won't refund you the credit nor can they. You won't get your device back either even if it gets accepted.
in this process you will be between losing your old phone or paying in full if trade in get rejected for any reason. adding to this too much communications and wasting of time.
Like I repeated over and over to everyone here, be patient. If anything turns out wrong, then you take action. You took action first and just complicated the whole process.
I hope you can get it fixed, but you're in for a long headache.

This is why you shouldn't have cancelled until everything was at the very least complete.

Hindsight is always 20/20. You condemn the first person for trying to do something that is not in the rules and then you condemn the second person for not waiting until they are outside of the return window and then expect they will be able to get Spectrum to do something that is not in the rules if things go wrong. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The other person took action too soon like I said. I told you the same thing too which was to to wait and what happened to you? You said it was a miracle but was it really? I guarantee you that if you hadn't waited and opened a chargeback, it would've made for a far more messier situation by now. My point is, don't overcomplicate things if you're not sure what's going to happen.
But hey, what do I know. Hindsight be damned. Trying to give my 2cents so that it's easier for all of you but whatever.
P.S. I got my second trade in credit today as well. Must be some of that little miracle magic working for me too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
