I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

I mailed out the exact same day as you 3/1. They received on 3/4 but have been sitting in warehouse with no updates since then. This is absolutely maddening.
It really does not make sense how they seem to just lose track of truckloads of devices. No clue how a company can be allowed to operate in such a disorganized fashion.

Hopefully some competition arises for Assurant so that they either have to improve their services or lose business.

Ok I emailed their support last night as I wrote that comment, threatening a complaint to the BBB if the delay continues and what do ya know. I got assessment confirmations on both phones this morning lol.

Joining the club. Initially 3 days delay in delivering(while the package is at the destination) and no update on the assessment(been more than 10 days). Too much hassle.
Update: device 2(delivered on 3/4) successful assessment email came today.

Device 1(delivered on 3/1) is still pending. I'll give a few more days before escalating.

My device was received about 1.5 weeks ago. Previous experience with Assurant has been assessment complete within a couple of days. This time had the issue where USPS tracking showed as "Refused" the day after it was delivered but then showed as delivered again the next day. I waited a few days beyond the estimated assessment date and e-mailed for update because return window closing with Spectrum. Received prompt (same day) but generic response to at least wait 10 business day before they can escalate.

Today received confirmation that it is assessed. Guess they got through a batch of that was delayed. I wish Assurant would do better assessing devices in the order they are received. Others here reported later delivery date with earlier assessment. It causes a lot of unnecessary stress for people because of Spectrums 14 day return window and going well beyond the estimated evaluation date.

This is the response I received from Assurant.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. I am so sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, there is a current backlog in the Warehouse with getting devices scanned in. At this time, we are asking for 10-15 business days to get the device attached to the trade-in. Once the device is received, the customer will receive a confirmation email regarding the device received, and adjusted offer, if any. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help assist you with.

Thank you,
Victoria

I got that email reply this afternoon as well from Victoria. However, they already approved my trade in earlier this morning so clearly they don't bother checking on the latest status at all before firing the canned email.

One of my trade in packages shows lost with USPS tracking but Assurant has processed it and I have my money.
You can process a missing package request with USPS, the info is in one of these threads about Spectrum trade in deal.

Mine have all been processed. One of them lost in the warehouse so they'll send a check for that one it seems.

Got credit refund for 2nd batch today. Originally sent in 2 a32's got s24 and s24+, then a week before the deal ended, decided to trade in s20fe and the new s24, got another s24 and s24+, so ended up with 2 s24+ and 1 s24. Got all credits refunded to credit card. The process was really smooth and it's hard to get these types of great deals these days. Really have to thank this thread, as I wouldn't have went for the 2nd batch if it wasn't for those mentioning the great trade in value. A real perk if you're a spectrum internet customer. Only issue now is having to maintain the bogo phone line payments until the 2nd set of phones run their 60 day course.
