I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Good deal, looks like each one of my phones shows "unlocked" under Connections > More Connection Settings > Network Unlock Status.

Called Spectrum to unlock all 4 phones I got.

Spectrum sent an email saying "We've received your request to unlock your Samsung device. You'll receive a message on your phone confirming it's unlocked."

One of the four phones got a notification saying the phone was unlocked. None of the others did.

Is there any way to verify the phones were actually unlocked, that doesn't entail putting a non-spectrum sim in the phone? I only ask as I don't have any other sim cards I can use, from other carriers, to see if each of the phones is unlocked.
All of them are activated more than 60 days ago?

Yes

Also I think I read a comment that even if you cancel before the end of your billing cycle spectrum won't prorate your bill? Is that right?

So many did multiple trade ins on a single lines, they can't unlock those phones ?
Let say one traded total 4 phones on a single line, we all know only 1 phone would be activated for 60 days, the other 3 would be only 1 day ( day of traded in), what happened on those 3 phones now?

During the promo, someone mentioned they just called and the other phones on the single line all got unlocked on one 60 days of activated....really like to know that
It's 60 days since activation of the individual phone.

I bought a s24U and s24+ on two lines. Immediately bought two different phones on the same two lines. By the time I activated the first two phones had been active for 3 days. Yesterday I hit 60 days since the first two phones were activated. I swapped the original phones back on to the account online using eSim. Unlocked both using chat in less than 5 minutes.

So, the phones have only been "active" on the lines for 4 days total, but 60 days since they were originally activated.

Yes, they don't prorate when you cancel line. They do when you add a line.

After nearly 2 months of waiting for Assurant to evaluate my trade-in, they finally responded to my e-mails that they can't evaluate the device and escalating to have a check issued for the trade-in value and promotional credit withing 1-2 billing cycles.
Has this happened to anyone else? I was planning to terminate the line used for trade-in, do you think that I now need to keep it open until I get the check?

Did you unlocked the other 2 different phones? So you have 4 phones unlocked right?

First time I've heard where they can't evaluate the device...did they lose it or something??

Once they send the check, I doubt you would need the active service to cash it in, but have no idea while the line is cancelled. I know for most wireless service, they still give you credits and stuff if they owe you balance.

No, I have to wait another 2 days to hit the 60 day mark since the second two phones we acrivated.I have already re-activated them on the two lines, so it will be a quick chat to get them unlocked.

It's a rolling process as the phones hit their 60 days since activation.

So I called to unlock , and was denied.

Do we need to keep the phone active on account for 60days ?
I activated the phone and then remove it from account and used iPhone and after 60 days when I asked to unlock the device they are denying that.

Called to cancel my service, will terminate next months since new billing cycle happened. Just said going to my family plan so no hassle.

Then i requested to get transferred to another department about the trade in money getting refunded back to my credit card. Had to confirm and will be refunded in a few days to my credit card. The agent was like wow got top of the line phone for $300 lol. Thanks OP, just going to use my visible line and use this as a fun phone(transfer esim back and forth)

Did you activate Samsung phone back on the line before asking for unlock? I think you may need to do that.

What do you mean activate the phone back to the line? If I use physical sim card, can I simply insert the sim card back to the phone I want to unlock? Thanks.
