I'm not sure I'd call that ridiculous. It's pretty much the average price for this set on 4k. Keep in mind, that's $11.60 a disc. Considering the typical cost of a 4k disc that's not terrible. And there are good deals on those 4k ones occasionally. The lowest price for the 4k set was $60 which is a phenomenal price for eight 4k discs.

Keep in mind the 4K set didn't get a very good transfer, a couple were decent at best.
It may not be as advantageous even at $60 especially if you own this already.
4K streaming vs this, this is better especially on the AQ side imo.

You could not be more wrong on AQ. 4k are ALL DTS-HD MA 7.1 or DTS-X. On BD: only last 2 movies are DTS-MA, the rest are Dolby True HD (Movie 6), PCM (yuck!!!!) or DD 5.1 on all others

I'll wait until it's back at $60 or below. Audio quality is a LOT better on this 4k release. All movies are at 7.1 DTS-HD MA and DTS-X

For me never had a DTS:X create a great immersion sound, including these.
Now if prefer your sound running "hot" you will like X imo.
DTS-HD MA 7.1 depends on your setup & you can always use something like Auro with BR, not too bad with this set imo.
