Nice catch. Didn't know they made pans in China. All their stuff from Brazil is top quality and at great prices. Haven't tried these Chinese ones, but hard to imagine they're as good as the Brazil tri-ply even at MSRP.
I heard the ones made in China are worse than the ones made in Brazil?
But it also makes it stronger and less likely the handle will ever break off.
And it's such a super minor cleaning difference.

Pretty decent. Used 50 times, hasn't warped at all. Feels like a decently thick 3 ply. Cleans up nice. I really don't have much to compare it to.
Went to Costco a couple days ago and my store didn't have these pans. So I couldn't even tell you how these feel compared to the Viking.
100%. I'm transitioning to stainless and have an All-Clad pan. The All-Clad feels heavier, but this is a quality pan and heats up slowly and evenly.
One tip for everyone, don't put this in the dishwasher. The linings are visible on the sides similar to All-Clad, so it could get sharp af. All-Clad was sued and had to exchange pans recently because of this.
I had just put it in dishwasher out of the box and don't see any issues.
I have a Sam's Club Member's Mark 14 piece set by Tramontina and I think they're very high quality cookware. The only problem is that I'm not good or patient enough to cook on stainless steel without sticking. Definitely a great set but you should also consider carbon steel if you're just looking for pans. They have a nicer shape and are less heavy than cast iron while being more nonstick than stainless. Oxo recently came out with some that don't have the ridiculously long handles that de Buyer and Matfer have and that's what I would go with if I were to replace all my stainless tri-ply/cast iron/carbon steel pans now.
