You can get a 4060 Lenovo Legion 5 easily from AntOnline via eBay for a similar price to this laptop. Hence why I said the Dell G-series was poor value last time...

Any thoughts on the value if you include the 10% off and the $120 off with the Amex cash back?
Assuming an 8% tax, your net after coupon and Amex would be about $835. That's pretty good, but not a Slickdeal IMO. Buy it if you want/need it now.

I thought the exact same thing, if this was a 4060 this would be a solid deal. I have the G15 with a 3070 and want to upgrade.
I have a G15 with a 3050 and I'm considering an upgrade in the next 10 years if it manages to last that long. I just hope World War 3 or disease X wouldn't happen by then to wipe us all out.

Also way heavier with lower battery life and costs $200 more.

That Inspiron 16 with the 2050 at $800 is not a gaming laptop. It is a content creation/editing laptop. A 2050 is more than enough for that. It is also 2 lbs lighter and probably gets 6-8 hours of use with a fully charged battery (the G16 gets half that).

Different tools for different applications - comparing Apples to Oranges.

Agree, GPU is too weak for this price. AT this price, expect 4060 at least

So tempted to replace/upgrade my aging Core i7-6700 with this. Wish you could get the higher-option video adapters with the i7, though.

Anyone know if ram and storage are upgradeable?
Ram is CAMM module not compatible with the new JEDECC CAMM2 specs

$1,000 for a 4050? Are we high? 1600p? Why?

Is this purely for League of Legends or something? How are you going to hit 240 FPS in a resolution ABOVE 1440p with an RTX 4050?

Nothing makes sense about these specs except the 16GB of RAM.
