I do not see a mention on this page about the 5 year warranty that goharddrive typically has.

If you do an RMA through WDC before July, you'll get a reliable (actually) refurbished drive directly from the source.
But with a different serial number (and possibly model), so then you may have no recourse with goHardDrive for the remainder of their 5 year coverage period. Other people have commented that they've been fair to deal with for RMAs.
