So, what do you suggest guys wear?

For sleeping, boxer briefs with a roomy pouch. The boxer briefs from 32 Degrees fit the bill.

I like jockey but none of these briefs appeal to me and boxers could cause Testicular torsion, a life threatening injury where your nuts tie themselves into a knot while you sleep.

You wear undies in bed, gross 😝

Say NO to that 32 Degrees peddled recycled plastic nonsense.

LOVE my plastic Under Armour 9 inch boxerjock ;-) I do have a bunch of jockey midway briefs, though, those are awesome too.

I got the 8.5" leg microfiber last time they were on sale and they're my new favorites for running, better than Pair of Thieves or SAXX and waaaaay cheaper. I'll try out the shorter-leg modal, though it looks like it might be softer and less supportive.

That's bizarre that some say hand wash only. I'll take a chance and continue to machine wash them.

Any recommendation for a version that would work well for travel, quick dry (machine or hand wash / line dry)? Thanks

I like the fit of traditional boxers so maybe

Jockey underwear are extremely overpriced for no reason. They are not even high quality. Quality is similar to Fruit of the Loom and Hanes but Jockey thinks they're a premium underwear charging $18 for one underwear.

More like $6 each if you find them on sale. I tried one pair of the 9" and replaced my entire set of boxers. Best I've ever used.

I have bought Jockey boxer briefs in the past, and have been mostly happy with them. However, over the past few years, my Sciatica has gotten worse and I now have to try to find comfortable, loose-fitting underwear that isn't too tight on my waistline and won't aggravate my sciatica.

Can anyone recommend some good-quality, loose-fitting boxers or boxer briefs that fit comfortably, but, aren't tight on the waistline? I was thinking that cotton material might be helpful, but I'm not sure of that.

This is probably going to be a difficult thing to find; but, with my Sciatica pain being an almost-constant bother, it's something that I wanted to at least ask about. If someone would like to reply, some helpful replies and, especially, suggestions and links, would be greatly appreciated.
