Some of those reviews though. I guess Bella doesn't support their products and some people didn't get 9 months out of this thing before the door switch died. And the company doesn't care they're offering a 2 year warranty.

"Worked well for 4 months and then the basket stopped seating inside the machine which triggers the shut off and makes it impossible to use. Company refuses to honor their "2 year" warranty so I'm looking for a new air fryer. Very disappointed with the customer support from Bella."

"Cheaply made if it only last 9 months of normal use. Door swicth broke off and now womt turn on"

"It's been 8 months and screen is not working. Can't see numbers"

"Shut of during warm up yesterday. Unplugged it and let of sit for a while, plugged it back, and the light for the "start" button is out, so you can't see where it is now. The rest of the display is kinda flickering, so it probably won't be long before it goes too. Thought we would at least get a few years out of it like our previous(not a Bella Pro) air fryer. Paid $80 in July, lasted only 5 months. Don't recommend."

This is a great price, I bought a Bella pro 6qt last month 35$, my first air fryer. If I get 9 months or more I'll be very happy for 35$ . I've used it almost daily for dinner. Steaks, chicken, pork chops , ribs, shrimp, corn on the cob, fries, and etc etc. this makes cooking very convenient. Clean up after use is very easy. When and if this one dies I will get a better brand but this is a great starter air fryer. Idk about name brand or warranty but it's 30$ 🤷 ♂️! I used to dread cooking dinner and order out often, I don't recall ordering out since I've got my air fryer. I seen someone on eBay selling the one I got after the sale for double the price and he sold many of them.

In a previous post I recommended for people not to buy this. However, at this price, if you think of it as disposable within 1 year - it's not bad.

I'm on my second unit of this model.

First one died. Bella sent a refund check. Second one still cooks, but the power/start button no longer illuminates which makes it difficult being part of the touch screen. Still using it though.

Both units have developed issues in less than a year.

If they were made better and didn't break, I would recommend this item to everyone.

EDIT: I want to add more context to this post. I hate that this unit is essentially disposable. I love the results of using it when it works. I have a toaster oven that is 20+ years old. Still works. It gets used a few times per year. Microwave, 20+ years old, still works, used a few times per week. Stove/Oven, 20+ years old, have replaced parts on it, still works, used about once per day. This air fryer, 2 have broken, each within less than a year, used MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY. That's how much an air fryer has been incorporated into my life. The ease of use, speed, and results are hard to overlook. If you want to test out what an fryer is like for cheap - this is your chance. If you want something dependable - this unit isn't it.

I have owned 2 different Bella air fryers and both of them which were 2 different models had a smelly, burning plastic, toxic smell that never left the units. And this obnoxious, toxic smell /taste got into the food that was being cooked every time. I got rid of both of them. Oh and we did "season" them as instructed by the instructions which is code word for "turn it up on high for an initial cook for like 15 min to burn off all the industrial oils, chemicals, teflon residue, etc." which will indeed stink up your house too. Use these at your own risk! No more Bella low end trash in this house! I ended up getting a different brand on Amazon which we like alot. Peace

Yep, Bella is a brand I avoid at all costs anymore and I am really cheap. They can't even make a simple drip coffee maker.

What unit would you recommend? preferably under 400.
