To be honest that's on you. I got like 5 emails from BB asking me to confirm that I had done the predelivery checklist.

Time to turn the garage into a gameroom.

The X90L is certainly going to be a better picture. There is a significant difference in PQ between similarly priced Samsung and LG models to the Sony X90L, or any Sony with their higher quality upscaling engine at equal price ranges and sizes, not to mention these MUCH more value end TV's...

However, these things are massive and CHEAP, they would be my choice for a game room, basement or loft in my home. Think of it like a toy, a kids/family TV vs. an ISF certified display and have fun with it.

Huge size difference. 100" is almost 40% bigger. Easy return process if you don't like it. Dont even have to leave your home or lift anything.

I'd go for an 83" OLED for a little more than that 85" if you're going that route though.

83" LG C3 Oled is $200 short of double the price of an 85" X90L. And the Sony will still do a better job of upscaling content (just less contrast)

Tilt is definitely nice to have even if just a little bit. Without tilt the ideal height of the TV would be even closer to the floor. If your studs aren't 24" apart or if you want to mount your TV in between two studs there should be quite a few options for you. I only had to go with that one because this TV takes up pretty much the whole wall it's on an a stud is dead center and they're 24" apart. No other mount I found had a bracket that went that wide (and I didn't want to do a 2x4 across the studs since it'd be visible to the side.
