As far as I can see that's only for existing customers

No way, I paid less than $800 for my S22 Ultra, I wouldn't pay $800 for S24 Ultra, it will be that price very soon. The original price of $1200+ is too high for S24U

That's a very good trade-in value from Samsung for a 6-year old phone (that they might be able to resell in bulk for $40)! Guess they really want to keep Note 8 users in the Sam fam.

You said it wasn't worth the effort for the points, which implied you meant for sharing, not using. I agree it would be a hassle to create new accounts all the time for a new discount. Though the $66 I saved isn't insignificant! I kept my last phone for 5 years though so if I keep that rate it'll be awhile before I need to worry about it again!

Yeah, I am not against sharing. If someone asks me I am happy to give. $66 is good but was that from just one or multiple. Someone just asked me via PM ironically, lol but I am not sure if the person was messing as a result of my posts in response to yours I'm not even shopping Samsung for anything now. I bought my s24 from Google Fi this year as I thought it was a better deal.

Does anyone know if I can trade in a note 8 with screen burn in? I read the FAQ and it just states the device needs a functioning display with no black spots or pixilation. Any input is appreciated. Great deal because my note has been sitting in a drawer for a few years.
If this thread is true, looks like it shouldn't be a problem?

whats missing is you picked S24 Ultra which is the most expensive phone. This thread is for the S24+ which is much cheaper MSRP.
Don't think that's it. I'm getting the price jump on the s24+. Trading in a base s22, $450 trade value.

Upon clicking the trade agreement, final price jumps from $449 to $549.

Get the same $100 price jump at edu site.

Anyone get this figured out?

The second picture shows the phone with a pen. Does this phone support an active stylus?

what do you mean man. you dont know how to use the site. the "final price" is shown using maximum tradein value. when you put it your phone, in this case a $450 trade-in, then it does the calculation again and makes the final price $549.

$549 is the CORRECT PRICE if your trade in is valued at $450. the OP said with a $400 trade in, his total was $600 for the S22+. you said your tradein valued at $450 ($50 more than OP), puts your final cost at $50 LESS than his. what math do you need to make that more clear? your total is $50 less than his already.

Lol. First time using this site. Lot's of confusing discounts.

Still confused. My offer is for $449 with trade but when I click on the trade agreement, it jumps to $549.

Oh well, maybe I'll(or somebody) will figure it out, lol.

For my area fi is expensive and with poor signal, so not a great option.
Fi doesn't vary in price by area. Their $20 plan offers the deal. It's unlocked so you can just use you're carrier in the other SIM slot. Still amazed how many people think paying 5, 6, 700$+ is a Slickdeal!? Inflation gonna be bad again and soon, and seems like iPhone is going to lose share for first time in ages

The Fi $20 plan deal is only good if you're already a customer. If you're a new customer you have to commit to 24 months, and if $20 with no data is a suitable plan for you, you're probably not buying an S24.

I miss the times you can get a new phone for $200 with your trade in. Even trading in my Fold 4 and with edu discount, still paying $700 for S24 Ultra.
