This is the best price I have seen yet for this caliber of a router. This is in walmart.com and newegg is the fulfillment. But when I go to the actualy newegg.com website the price of this unit is MSRP not this sale price which is weird.
I have this one already but im buying another to try the mesh functionality. The single router I have was easy to setup with my modem, Hopefully it's not a pain to setup together as mesh.
This is Wifi 6e with max speeds of 7800mbps. This is much better compared to the MSI Radix AXE6600. Which I owned previously but returned due to its 6ghz band not being easily detected and range not as good as well compared to this Acer W6 model. Not to mention the MSI is only 6600mbps max compared to this one 7800mbps.

I've got an older WiFi 5 model now, the AC3100 I believe (four radio antennas, USB for storage drives or printers, etc). It was a refurb, but it has been working well since like 2017. Just recently I split the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands into two separate networks, now I have no complaints about remote streaming my PS5. We own a ranch-style house, three rooms at its widest, but from one end of the house (home office) to the furthest point (basement under the kitchen), I still get good 5GHz signal. The slightly complex admin settings site takes some getting used to, but it does provide a lot of options and control.
Given that my networking needs are met, I don't really know what I would gain here, but I guess it's at least good to be one of the few to say they're satisfied. I'm considering snagging one just because the old model was such a leap and this price is about what I paid, but it would be super helpful if someone could point out a benefit from the upgrade that is less abstract than max throughput specs (like… what would I do with 7,800 MB WiFi? Does it have optical fiber Ethernet?)

I get that WiFi dominates the consumer market and my setup is no different, but some of us still need ethernet.
The stock software/interface is not my favorite, specially their anemic mobile version, but it gets the job done, I have no major complaints besides that. Would get again at this price if wifi7 was not around the corner.
