Deal appears to be dead

If you're in the market for the thinnest, lightest, 15.6" laptop, this deal is for you. There are better value 15.6" on the market - better in many ways (specs, display, etc.), but if your number one priority is weight, this is a fair deal! 2.18 pounds. For a 15.6". That's nuts. Super thin. 0.43" wtf. Anyway, I just bought one. Thought I'd share. Yes, there is better value out there, but if you want the lightest for this size screen this is pretty decent.

Edit: I don't know why this is getting TD. The 32GB ram + 2TB SSD version was a frontpage deal a few months ago and this is $500 cheaper. Best Buy has matched the price now too

Now in stock at LG.com with free delivery $999.99 (or can get $899.99 if you have a .edu email) https://www.lg.com/us/laptops/lg-...ram-laptop

Now $1199.99 Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-g.../6542076.p

Currently sold out but "more on the way": Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2WM6M3H

Good deal for a light laptop with a relatively large screen.

Not bad. At the Amazon link I'm only seeing USED though, for $810. Good specs, and I strongly prefer OLED to IPS LCD. The knocks against this one could include the fact that the screen resolution is only FHD, and the battery is not as big as on some Grams (up to 80Wh). Pretty nice otherwise.

I just got an Asus Zenbook from Microcenter for a bit less. Ryzen-based instead of Intel, higher resolution OLED screen. I think I got the last one though - tried to get one for my mom and they've been sold out since (2 weeks I think). You can't go wrong with an LG Gram though, well-built, shockingly light, and very good battery life.

Does this model also feels cheap/plasticky like other Asus LCD grams?

Also screen is just 1920 x 1080, it should be much higher resolution at this price to be a slick deal.

As of yesterday it said "more on the way" for the ships and sold by Amazon, so stock may pop back in at some point.

Not sure on the feel, I don't get mine until tomorrow. Youtube reviewers seemed satisfied with the feel though. I agree with you on the resolution. If you want better resolution and still a light laptop the Acer Swift Edge 16 is a good option, with 3.2k OLED. It's 25% heavier (2.7 LBS vs 2.18 LBS) but can be had cheaper if you get a refurb.

$849 if you have a business account. Weird how Amazon charges less depending on what type of account you have.

I would have bought a Swift Edge 16" when Costco had them for $700 but that model lacks a number pad (some versions have it), and I'd go nuts without it. Those are a nice OLED option otherwise. Full price is crazy but when they're on sale (a lot) they're a steal. Honestly, if you want a slim & light laptop, it seems like various LG Grams, Asus Zenbooks, and Acer Swift Edges are all good options. I haven't seen an OLED Gram as cheap as a Zenbook or Swift Edge, but their IPS screens are pretty nice.

FHD screen. And for that reason I'm out!

FHD on a 15" laptop is just fuzzy text.

Update: got mine yesterday. Build quality is fine. This thing is surprisingly small/light. It's basically as thick as my phone in its case. Exactly what I needed. The screen is OK for my use despite being FHD. I had a little trouble getting brightness control working in linux but it's working now. Keyboard is OK but not amazing. About what I'd expect. Battery life seems excellent so far. Overall very happy with the purchase. If thin/ultralight isn't a factor then you can get better bang for buck elsewhere though.

How long ago did you order? Trying to get a delivery time estimate from ordered to delivered. Thank you
