I'm not crazy about the aesthetics of 68 vs blackface and tweed amps, so I never really took a look at these. However, MF is having a nice sale on some of these babies. Very possible same / similar deals are on Guitar Center, not sure. anyway they have the same ownership now and I'm sure will pricematch with their evil twin website, you know like sibling rivalry.
What really caught my eye was the factory mods they did, as the clean channel is based on tweed basement, I've heard and played 6 or 7 amps, none of them had the beautiful almost acoustic like room filling sound of tweed bassman
Therefore, I think these are some good buys at MF right now:

Just bookmark the openbox page restricted to fender and look at it daily.
My only complaint about it is the speaker farts out if there's any bass going through it. And it creates these weird resonances that ruin my recordings if it's gets too cranked.

Exactly 👍 and btw I wouldn't buy "Scratch & Dent Level 3" anyway because of no manufacturer warranty…

I've got the Hot Rod Deluxe IV with the Celestron Red speaker. I guess they only made a limited number of these. They usually put a Jensen in this model, which to me sounds muddy and doesn't break well at certain volumes. I think the Celestron makes all the difference honestly.
