Heck, I bet you spend a lot of money on nonsense I wouldn't agree with. $7 cups of coffee, $500 vacuums, etc Your latte is gone in 60 seconds but god forbid I drop $240 on a gaming device I might spend 1000 hours using. Hope you can still sleep tonight knowing a stranger doesn't require your approval to spend their own hard earned money. I'll even let you buy that coffee without offering judgement

Maybe 12 hours is a stretch, but definitely at least 8 or so if you're just streaming from a console or whatever.
Main reason i got this was screen size. Been playing COD: Mobile a lot on my phone and figured this would make the experience better. Unfortunately, COD doesn't recognize the G Cloud device as an XBOX or PS controller, and so you have to button map, which just isn't quite as good as the DSD controller I was using with my phone before.
But on the other hand, using Steam Link and Moonlight to stream my massive library of games off my PC is a game changer.
Ergonomics are great, battery life is great, screen is great. Just wish it was recognized as an XBOX controller.
Really, should ***I*** spend $60 more so ***you*** can sleep better at night knowing I have a device that does something I do not need? I'd rather just send you a $5 bottle of Melatonin so you can finally catch some shuteye.
Reminds me of the time I went shopping for a 4WD truck to pull a camper and the guy at the Chevy dealership kept trying to show me Camaros.

My x13 is a nice basic laptop that's thin and light. I barely play games on it, but it's nice to have that option. I also do have a chromebook, but it's too slow for many tasks.

Like I said, I use my laptop as a laptop, not really for gaming, so no I can't just get a phone to play cloud games because I'm not looking to play cloud games.

I just said it seems pointless FOR THE PRICE. It is overpriced. Maybe I would buy it if it was like $150 at most. God, you act as if I completely disrespected you just because I think a product you love is kinda dumb.
And all your analogies are dumb. A steam deck can do everything this thing can do plus much more, and is very close in price. A phone with controller can do everything this g cloud does, but it can't replace a laptop.
A camaro can't do what a truck can do. It can't tow.
Drinking water won't fill your hunger like food does.
