You'd want curved for a 34"ultrawide. I used to use a flat 29" ultrawide, which was fine. I've used both flat and curved 34" ultrawides, and curved is the way to go.
It's worth noting that, unlike some competitors, Samsung's 1-year warranty doesn't cover burn-in in North America, though this may vary from region to region.

Can't decided between the G7 I bought 2 weeks ago or this. Weirdly the ability to rotate the g7 to portrait is the only reason keeping me from switching
