I want more than 6gb RAM for $139 brand new. What phones do you suggest?

While that is technically true, some phone manufacturers have country versions that contain separate cellular radio receivers. That may make an unlocked US phone not work in another country at all due to incompatible radios or fewer receivers than standard and data and phone calls are worse.

hopefully I had a bad unit. But these issues with AA and fingerprint scanning are very common and maybe thats why Motorola is selling them this cheap to offload stock

I paid $240 for it a year ago and I still use it today. I don't have any complaints and I hope to get another year out of it. No brainer at this price.

Yes this is real great price if you don't mind Motorola skimping on security updates. I know in recent years budget Moto phones get 3 years of security updates and this is an older phone from 2022. So how many years of service would you get from this phone?

Not many options unless you bundle something with Oreos carrier. Nord n30 has 8 gb ram. You can get it for 90 total (50 for phone, +40 for 1 month of metro PCs).

But it's not locked for 6 months.

You could get something used. LG v60, s10 plus.

But 8 gb of ram brand new for $140. Doesn't exist outside of prepaid bundles with a variety of locking policies.

I would look at Nord. It's 50 now but was 20. But will metro PCs work for you? If not, use as wifi only device for 5 months and it will unlock
