The 1-yr AAA membership a one time benefit. If you used it last year when it first came out then you do not get the free benefit for successive years. You do, however, get an endless(!) supply of mailings from AAA asking you to renew/rejoin and then also join the AAA life insurance programs and I'm pretty sure I ended up on other snail mailing lists because of this.

Just use privacy card to apply AAA and set the maximum limit to $1. the card will decline itself if AAA tries to renew with privacy. AAA will cancel your account because they can't take the money. hassle free.

The only thing that still keeps me from cancelling my Simple Choice plan is the free roaming data and texting overseas. No other company has comparable offer. OtherwiseI would have switched long time ago.

Exactly the same here. I compared switching plans and the lowest cost of any other raises my monthly cost by well over $100.

When that happened to me I sent a letter saying that the person was deceased and that stopped them lol

Me too. I redeemed this offer when TMO initially came up with this promo (like 3 years ago, I think). I tried again yesterday and got this same error message.

They sure are. I'm grandfathered in the original Military plan. 12 lines at $20 per line up to 8 and then $25 per line up to 12. This includes all taxes and fees.
