This deal, with a $8 (my value) charger - comes out at $2.25 each for higher capacity batteries with much shorter lifespans.
Does anyone else have similar math when figuring out Eneloop deals?

Of course, based on time/frequency I have to put into playing video games these days.
Costco Kirkland AA are good but .30 each. 8 charges (less cost to charge them) and you've paid the same. I say decent deal.

I'm not sure how much better the "Pro's" are required for a game controller use (I am aware that any gain in speed is everything with gaming - but does it apply in a game controller). Camera's and flash type devices...I'm sure that extra boost in the Eneloop black power is important and needed over white.
