I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

Own this very phone. Purchased from Metro in August 2023. Unlocked Feb 12, 2023.

Operated successfully on Visible and Cricket.

Only thing "not' tested on either was wifi calling.

Made and received calls fine. 925dl/40ul Ookla Speedtest in home on Visible.

Hotspot worked fine on both.
Did it lag on gaming or something else?

Don't game but at my location, expect it to perform on par with any phone with similar specs.

No lagging noticed. Only tested for a few minutes each on Visible and Cricket. Visible connected with 5GUW. Just a regular 5G(LTE like) connection on Cricket.

Even though I live near Cricket headquarters, I've yet to connect to a UW signal on Cricket, with my S22.

No charger, I think those days are gone long back, even Motorola not shipping chargers anymore.

after trying for a few days when it went in and out of stock, my order finally went thru.
I wasn't able to use Virtual CC, it kept denying payment every time. So had to use my real card. I'm assuming as soon as I get the phone and activate it, I can then cancel the plan (It will stay for a month) and remove CC details from the account?

few qns -

- number of posts saying eSim is actually working, wonder if this is a special version for TMo?
- how well will this work internationally? does it have global 5g support?
- so since it only promised 1yr update and Android 14 is already out, thats it right?
- anyone comment on the UI of the phone? it looks like its still the old style notification from ~10yrs ago and not the new style in Android? Does Motorola include any additional features?
- is the stylus any use?

if you have any other phone/laptop etc with a usb-c charger it will work. if not get a cheap usb-c charger thats 50W or more and it can be used with multiple devices.

e.g. https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasi...B087MFLLCR

even Apple/Samsung don't include it with their $1k+ phones so can't really blame Motorola/Metro for this. Ironically most of the Chinese brands do include one.

I have to recycle more than 10 phone wall chargers. 1. they are not that useful unless you only travel with your phone and no tablet or laptop. 2. you can only charge 1 device at a time, 3. the charging time is longer than fast chargers.

Most hotels/airplanes/airports/coffee shops/etc. now have charging ports. Even my adjustable bed (3-years old) comes with USB-A charging port. The single device wall charger from phone manufacturer isn't really useful anymore. Yes, it is small and easy to carry for sure but not really useful if you have tablet or laptop and a phone.

A decent deal, but for only $109 more on eBay you can get an excellent condition one unlocked.

Moto's tend not to be big on resale value drops like a rock overtime, This one does not have eSim support as Moto only has 2% of their lineup as being eSim supported.

I bought the unlocked edition and I liked it though it really is not too much different than the 2022, Software back in November was pretty buggy so I just returned it and got something else. I also vote for the OnePlus Nord N30 as I also had that and its been my favorite Nord since the N10.

Looks like unlocked version is sold for $170 right now at Motorola website

Do you believe this is undocumented feature?
The unlocked model doesn't have e-sim, this Metro model does.

How does this compare to the stylus 5g we got on HSN a few months back? That phone has very little bloat and great battery life. But the camera situation on the back is different than this one.
That's the 2021 model.

Order went thru smoothly, after having to verify ID by answering a few questions.
Will activate, and then see if it unlocks in 6 months.

Anyone have any idea what "India" bands it supports?

bad news. India mostly uses n28 which isn't supported on this.
