I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

so basically Metro is giving phones for free (which T-mobile could do anything remotely as good, even on their 40 dollar plans).
so what's limiting someone from buying 200 of those and sale for after 6 month after they are unlocked?
As you can see, it's very hard to buy even 1 phone, lol.

Your name and info would be flagged for fraud in no time anyway.

Cool, I guess I am late to the game, the phone was surprising well made (in my opinion) and I don't mind getting a few every year for 40 dollar a piece.
guess I should go ahead and order some more
exactly why I ordered it, though I wish I'd done it last year. Its a good enough replacement for my 5yr old phone and I hope it can last. If you need more than one, you can also wait till the 2024 ones come out soon.

I haven't had that problem.

Auto-Pay is off by default.

I have bought 4 Metro phones
good to know. I plan to remove the cc details when I've activated the phone. did you mean you've bought 4 over the years or this deal?

people who are downvoting this really don't know. Its best to charge your phone slowly from 20-80% and keep it that way. Sadly Google will never include tools to do this, whereas I believe with Samsung Bixby can do this easily and its built in.
My Google Pixel 7A slow charge at night by default. When I plug it in around 11pm, it slow charge until about 7:15am (my daily alarm for work).

Metro online account login require SMS sent to the metro number, so after first month the line will be cancelled, then how to login?
Your line sill can receive SMS for a few days after your first month. The account will be inactive for 2nd month. Then the number gets free up and your account probably closed after 2nd month.

Own this very phone. Purchased from Metro in August 2023. Unlocked Feb 12, 2023.

Operated successfully on Visible and Cricket.

Only thing "not' tested on either was wifi calling.

Made and received calls fine. 925dl/40ul Ookla Speedtest in home on Visible.

Hotspot worked fine on both.
Have you used Visible after they moved to a new network? Visible moved all the users from the old system, and many phones stopped working on the new network.

The only thing I can think of is that you have some kind connectivity restriction that prevents the identity verification portion of the page failed to load.

I have been with Visible, continuously since 2018.

I used this Moto 2023 Stylus 5G from Metro on Visible just this past Feb 12(a week ago) when it was eligible for unlock.

Only used it for a few minutes. Made a call. Received a call, tested hotspot and ran a speedtest.

Then I put the Visible SIM card back in my S22.

Did basically the same thing with my Cricket Wireless SIM card.

not sure how would I be able to troubleshoot this. I just tried a web proxy site now and saw the same result, so it seems to be related to metro's view on me. not sure if it's related to haven't made any purchase from metro myself before. the funny part is Metro always charges for the order, then prompt for the verification and cancel the order. now I have a load of pending Metro charges on my cc from all the trying which reduced my cc's available balance to just a few cents such that I'm unable to buy a burger or sandwich with my cc...lmao

I got the Galaxy A15 5G and at this point it is tough to justify any Moto G Stylus before 2025 or 2026 with how Motorola update policy has been one major update and two years of security updates.

Just got the phone. I thought phone will be wider like the iphone 15 plus.

Wow, lots of junk apps installed by default. I need to uninstall all of them.

Try go to a friend or family member's place or a place with free WiFi. Also borrow a laptop or tablet from a friend or family member. if that gives you the same result, that probably means the identity verification service provider is not able to find any information about you in any of the publicly available records.

just checked that - it has OneUI 6 with Android 14 already, and has 4 years of Android OS updates ??!! That absolutely puts the Moto to shame, even their high end phones.

Samsung also comes with plenty of added software, which can be uninstalled/disabled it seems, just like the bloatware people say is on the Moto. My current phone is a Pixel 2XL, yes its old and still on Android 11, and it looks like Moto UI is pretty bare bones. I'm wondering now if the A15 or other Samsung phones would be a better choice?

If price is the same, I will pick A15 just for better OS update.
