I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

If price is the same, I will pick A15 just for better OS update.
I compared the specs of both on Metro's site, since they sell customized variants. here is the network info -

MetroPcs

A15 5g

4GB/128GB

GSM: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz;
UMTS: Band I (2100), Band II (1900), Band IV (1700/2100), Band VIII (900);
5G: n25, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78;
LTE: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 20, 25, 26, 38, 39, 40, 41, 48, 66, 71

moto g stylus 5G - 2023

6GB/128GB

GSM: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz;
UMTS: Band I (2100), Band II (1900), Band IV (1700/2100), Band V (850);
5G: n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n12, n13, n14, n25, n26, n29, n30, n38, n41, n48, n66, n70, n71, n77, n78;
LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 29, 30, 38, 39, 40, 41, 48, 66, 71
WCDMA: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8;

the limited network support on their A15 may be a problem? I agree that support and software on A15 is much better, and likely the camera too.

For $40 to use as an backup phone idk why you guys make a big deal about OS update comparing to the A15 which gonna be laggy as hell cuz of 4gb ram. While the amoled screen suppose to be better, once it broke you're fcked. And I expect snap 6 gen 1 is a better SoC as well.

Yes the cpu in the SoC on this phone is faster than the A15. Both are the same price i.e. free. I dont really know about 4 vs 6Gb, my current phone has 4GB and I've never had a problem.

Updates do matter. and OneUI has a ton of features, Bixby Routines is extremely useful for many things you simply cannot do on other phones.

And why do you say the screen on A15 is worse, are you talking about burn in?

both are great value and good phones from what I can tell.

I didn't say the phone screen is worse, I just say that LCD is tend to be more durable than Amoled. And yes for $40 both are very good value lol

thats quite surprising and unexpected. I wonder how the carrier unlock is implemented since it can't be on device, do all carriers query a common database for the device IMEI to see if its locked to a certain carrier?

Just requires a click of a button in the settings, for this model. That's all I understand about it.

Personally did it myself(carrier unlock).

Got this phone delivery today via UPS open up and there no sim card. Try to do esim but asking for a QR code which I don't have. Please help anybody have this problem?
There's so much in the wiki that's worth reading, even if you find the sim.

you did carrier unlock, so you've had it for 6 months? or did you mean bootloader?

Carrier unlock. Purchased phone last August. Feb 12 was 6 months.

Not personally knowledgeable about bootloader unlocking.
