Smart monitors should never be a thing. Never needed it, don't need it now.
While this is supposed to be a step down from the G95SC, i have read some reviews where they would pay more for it to not have all the Tizen TV software on it, as it makes it really hard to change inputs and other settings. Anyway, looks like a decent deal for people that don't have the Samsung EPP/EDU accounts.
8 (actually close to 8 1/7) of these will make a full circle.

I bought the Samsung while my LG 34GP83A was out for repair for a dead pixel. After I returned the Samsung and got my LG back, I bought a used Alienware OLED at the same size, and now I use both ultrawides, stacked.

Been a struggle finding the right heights and angles for it to work. The 49" was too wide, but this is slightly too tall, depending on how I'm sitting. Might get a better chair to make it work.

Love the Alienware's picture, though. And no complaints about its (lack of) software.

Can u snap a photo? I have the Alienware and thinking of stacking

To those who are debating between this and the QLED 49" with 1000R curve, I own both. I do miss the 1000R curve of the Odyssey QLED. However, the color, contrast, and overall sharpness of the OLED are beyond compare. My son now enjoys the Odyssey, and I kept the OLED version.

Is there a way to split this monitor as if it is two monitors? I have a 34" ultra wide and a 27" 16:9 monitor on the side. That way I can have things pulled up while I'm gaming or watching a video on my UW.

Yes, it has PBP, picture by picture. You can basically split it into 2x 27 inch 1440p monitors. There are other options 1 big, 1 smaller screen / left / right etc.

200 to 250 nit brightness only? Wouldn't buy this if it was $400, not going to pay to ruin my vision.

I tried the 1000R and it was too much for me (WFH, very little gaming) and the amount of space on the desk it took up was excessive. I keep coming close to pulling the trigger on this one after seeing it at CES, it's a gorgeous monitor and the curve is a LOT less significant. If they made the 57" in 1800R, I think I'd have already gone for it.

Can a PS5 game fill the screen or will they all be cropped?

It is just too wide, not good for productivity.
Not all "productivity" is the same. If you are doing invoicing or documents, of course an ultra-wide won't be conducive for this. However, if you are doing something with a timeline, like audio or video production, it's really nice. I use it for productivity all day and it's great! I actually like it better for (my) productivity than I do for gaming.

I don't like it for gaming for a few reasons. It's so many pixels to drive that that I have to turn off my (2) 27" monitors so it doesn't crash my system. Also, when streaming, the aspect ratio is way too wide for most people to view, so I actually drop it down to 16:9 for gaming. Plus, some games, such as Battlefield 2042 stretch the sides out from 21:9 to 32:9 with no additional view area.

I purchased the G95SC last month for over $1400 after tax, I just applied for a return and ordered this monitor for more than a $300 savings difference. The built in software on the G95SC is horrendous and annoying. I cannot wait to not need a remote to control my computer monitor the way I actually need to.

I need the puter for software development and 3d cad modeling using tinkercad. Once I go through the initial pains, is it a smooth ride? Good picture? Brightness seems low, I dunno.

I bought this 2 weeks ago for 1200...does anyone think I have a chance for refund of the difference?

Also... For reference, this monitor is great, I have a 4070 super and every game I play looks amazing and am playing at high to ultra settings. I don't track FPS and go overboard with the stats I just know it looks amazing and runs smooth at the full 5120 * 1440.
Amazon doesn't do pricematch so it would have to be purchase new one make sure it's up to spec then return the old one. Unless your return window have expired

It's OLED. Don't know if they measure brightness differently, but it's really bright, I have to turn it down a bit. Everything just pops.

It's difficult to drive at that resolution and high frames. So you may window it and have other stuff on side. Guides. Chat. Obs. Etc
