If you're ever in Chicago and are a McDonald's fan, be sure to check out the company's headquarters in the West Loop. There, you can try hamburgers offered in other countries, a unique experience you won't find anywhere else in the States.

I've been getting 1 dollar Big Macs and other "premium" sandwiches regularly with the app for years. I'd imagine I've single handedly cost McDonald's thousands of dollars. I never buy it unless it's significantly discounted.

McDonalds is predicated on volume. With the new $20/hr wage coming in April in CA they need to keep people coming in to justify the labor cost even if they use loss leader tactics. Eventually they will prob shut a lot down or go total automated in those super high labor markets. But as a whole it prob won't effect profit margins hugely

Title should be updated to indicate with $1 purchase. Got all excited when it said free, but the McD's app frequently has spend X get Y type of deals.

Well, I do know some people (extroverts) who like going into the office because they like the hustle and bustle of the big city, but even they hate the commute.

Fast Food has gotten way to expensive without coupons/deals, it's a shame. I'll take my $8 and spend it on a decent roast or chicken at the market and have 2-3 meals at home.
