Same technology and design since 1985. It blows my mind people still throws money at Jordans just because they think it's "cool". For $86, you can get sneakers made with new inventions and technologies that makes your feet feels like walking on clouds. There are Ultraboosts, OnCloud, Hoka, Asics Gel and tons of other to choose from.

And these Jordan's colorways are ugly. Just my 2 cents, spend your money how ever you want it.

These are more comfortable than the Dunk Low and less comfortable than the Air Force 1. If you're looking for walking-on-cloud comfort, I recommend Invincible 3.

I was actually surprised. As a school administrator I walk upwards to 13k steps a day. I wouldn't suggest doing that much walking in these shoes, but for one of my lighter days (8-10k) these were fine. But on a busy day, I had to swap these out for new balance by around 2pm.

People still buy Nike? Welcome to the 80s.

Hate to break it to you but Nike is still the most popular shoe brand in the World.

It's unfortunate to hear they don't even bother improving comfort on these shoes and using outdated shoe technology……such a shame that Nike doesn't care to do that.

You do realize that people buy these for nostalgia and lifestyle, not to play ball?

You wear these for a few hours. And for that, these are fine. And the materials are updated constantly but the exo-skeleton is the same.

Nike retros are popular with kids because their feet can take the abuse. Adult feet can't and you quickly realize how uncomfortable they are.

Just like kids have undeveloped tastebuds. Gas station sushi tastes the same as sushi from a Michelin star rated restaurant to them. They haven't developed that level of discernment.

You realize that they do improve on it? Just that theyre not in demand and nike doesnt call it jordan 1. They got all kinds of shoes like the jordan cmft line, react line, delta line, etc. Its just that the demand is high for nostalgia even tho they dont have the modern comfort. Even popular old cars, some vintage clothes, and certain pokemon cards have their special place for ppl who had fond memories tied to these certain items. And sometimes its finally buying something you wanted as a kid but couldnt afford them, but now you can. Later, those hokas you recommended 20 years later will be retros and ppl want a particular old model cuz, well it makes em feel good and some ppl dont want the formula to change.
