FYI, if you already own the main game the DLC's are on sale as well. $2.88 for both. Careful, I almost bought the expansion pass for $2.49 but at the last moment I notice it doesn't activate in the US. (a VPN might fix that)
Edit: LOL what idiot downvoted me and why? Sad soul.
BTW, should have mentioned the 'enhanced' edition runs pretty bad, low frame rates, on the Steam Deck (looks fantastic though) however the standard version performs perfect. I think the ray tracing (here) is just too much for the Deck. You can get the enhanced version to be playable but requires the resolution to be turned down so much you start to get blurred objects. Non-enhanced looks better when you factor that in. Both versions should be included with key and gameplay-wise I do not think there is any difference between them.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this game got me interested in single player games again after YEARS of not playing them. I played the shit out of Gears of War (the first one) single player campaign and then got Xbox Live for the first time and ever since then I never found any single player game as fun as the online multiplayer. It feels like every campaign for the longest time has either been an interactive movie or mindless AI that you mow through without any form of difficulty whatsoever. But playing Exodus absolutely blew me away and made me realize there are still some single player games worth experiencing.
Do yourself a favor and buy this if you've never played it, do not watch any videos or reviews on the game, and play it in the Ranger Hardcore mode (or at the very least Hardcore). It is an insanely well made and immersive game and the open world maps/zones are just right in terms of size. It's the perfect balance of open world exploration and linear storytelling and progression.

Great game. Very depressing and dreading atmosphere. Top quality in visual department. Excellent in story telling and progression. Easily one of the top few rare great single player games in the last 5 years.

What form of Slickdeals do you need to use to be able to downvote? Personally I don't see the option on mobile (Android app) or via desktop (PC/chrome)... Is down voting an apple/iOS thing?

I normally use the desktop version of SD, there is always a "like" button next to the "reply" button under every comment. If you hover over the 'like' you then get a like, funny, helpful, and not helpful (downvote) buttons.
Now, I do not think these votes mean anything. Just funny to me how someone can downvote somethings that are so unobjectionable.
*Please note, I get lots of downvotes through the day. 99% of which I probably deserve but sometimes it is like when you hold a door for a stranger and they give you the evil eye like you just kicked their dog.

Some great advice below, more advice to follow that post regarding using the Android version of the app.

for explaining the comment voting I'd like to add that that feature is only available in the Redesign view of the site. You can access the same ability on individual posts on the app (Android) by holding the "like" (thumb) button and the same options mentioned above should show up.

I tried hardcore and I just suck at it. Couldn't even get past the first few missions. All enemies take at least two revolver hits and reloading is slower than easy mode which makes it harder. I don't doubt ranger hardcore is better but I prefer a relaxed taking in the atmosphere immersion of the game than running around frantically.
Adding on to your advice, don't look up any guides walkthroughs like I mistakenly did with a completionist mindset and ruined the majority of my experience. This isn't a game it's an experience. Also another tip, life is too short to play mindless games, prioritize all story driven games and ignore all other non story games and use that time saved to spend with those who care about you. I guarantee you won't have time for non story games with the amount of story games out there. No one on their deathbed has ever looked back on their life and said "Man I wish I played more cod for the trash talking". Instead they regret missing out on all the meaningful life experiences with family friends and loved ones, and story games that actually make you ponder about it for weeks or all of your life.
Another game I would recommend that is as immersive as Metro is the Bioshock series, Outer Wilds and many many more. Just google search, reddit, youtube must play games to play before you die as a shortcut to all the games you're missing out on.
Meh, why not? I played this one (as well as others, as well as read the books in the original language) a few years ago, but I don't own it, and wanted to replay recently. Plus, I never got a chance to play any DLCs, so I picked it up. I also picked up Metro LL Redux, so I have the full series in their best versions on my PC. The LL was buck fifty-something. Good games to replay, but the books are still better. If you guys get a chance to read them, they're even darker than the games. Good stuff.

The Enhanced Edition is a trip. It looks nice, sure, but I had no idea it's so darn demanding. I have a 14700K and a 4090FE, and with maxed out settings, at 1440p, it pushes my system to the limit. I haven't seen my GPU pull over 400W yet, and with this one, it was hustling at 430W + around 200W on the CPU. My GPU can handle it, but you know, these things can get toasty and "melty", so I don't feel comfortable pushing it this hard for extended periods of time. I was getting stable 165FPS though. So I undervolted the GPU a little, now can play it with around 145FPS average, and it only pulls 320W or so (lol, only), so it's a much more relaxed experience, for me anyway. I could probably accomplish the same result by limiting Max FPS in Nvidia Control Panel, but with undervolt, it still goes up to 165 in many areas, just seems to on average stay in around 145 zone.
