This is listed as one of the best under $100 on Reddit all the time. It doesn't have as accurate temp or smart features as the above, but this will get consistent results

Don't you need to vacuum seal foods to use this? As well as have a container to put the food and water in?

No to both questions. You can use a ziploc bag. Just get as much of the air out as you can. I also just fill one of my pots with water and sous vide away!

use a ziploc bag use the water in the container to help push the air out, it gets close enough

Freezer Ziploc bags work. Any pot that can hold the right amount of water will work. I have a dedicated container for my sous vide, but I've used a stock pot. I've also used a cooler as well for ribeye roasts. I vacuum seal only when cooking at temps above 165, or long cook times.
