Wowwwww are we living in an era where we can openly discuss this site now without Slickdeals acting super weird??? I secretly (or maybe not so secretly) advocated for this site last Black Friday era when I was able to get the 65in of this TV from GT. Nice deal for this 77in with NO tax included..or I guess you can just say this is the final price with all taxes included upfront (tomato tomahto).
Looks like the toe finally gave in and paid the SD tax to play ball here
Not sure why people are down voting you. It's a solid deal for sure.

G4 coming out and most folks including myself waiting for g3 to drop even further.
And it possibly will. I waited till beginning of February to purchase mine because it finally hit the price point that I was willing to pay. Technology is such that if you keep waiting, the next model will come along and yours will be the less advanced/attractive model. Until last month, they were still clearing out the G2 models at $2k. The G3 is a significant upgrade to the G2. The G4 isn't that great an upgrade over the G3, imho. You never know if or when prices will drop. Your patience may be rewarded or stock may run out. Is the risk/reward for waiting worth it to you? That's up to each individual. Of course I wish I paid less but I'm still happy with my decision to purchase it.
Just a heads up, don't take the estimated delivery date very serious since mine was "expected" to be delivered Yesterday with zero updates on the tracking page (It still shows yesterday as the expected delivery date currently).
I randomly got a phone call earlier today to set up an actual delivery which will be Wednesday of next Week. It would have been nice to have some kind of update to know ahead of time since I rush bought a few things and paid more thinking it was going to be here much sooner. Not a huge deal or anything but I wish I would have known this earlier on.
Agreed - the logistics company used isn't the greatest at communication. Things were better once I could get in touch with a human in the local delivery office. They were cool. And this was NJ to AZ. Everything else in the process went just fine.
My TV sat in a warehouse in Columbus, OH for a week and didn't move until I called and started asking questions. Their automated system was great at alerting you to potential delivery days and allowed you to schedule a delivery window. Cool. Until the delivery window passes and you get ZERO communications. Not even an email or text.

I tried $2750 last week, and they countered at $2849. Was that your offer, or was it a counter from them at $2750?
I offered $2750 with cc info, got a counter of $2849, let that sit for a day without responding, then as my original offer was about to expire it was accepted.

Yeah, I def. agree with all that! My original post was sadly just Part 1.. Wednesday rolled around and they called saying they'd be here within an Hour around 9am.. They called at 8:30am saying they didn't have the gatecode (This was admittingly my fault as almost everything I have delivered is from the big Delivery companies who already have the code) and by the time I called back literally 5 minutes later they told me it was too late and I had to reschedule! God forbid they turn around and backtrack a couple minutes. So they try to reschedule for this Friday but I was able to talk them into Monday instead. They finally pull up at my House on Monday and as I walk out I see the guy just manhandling the tv by himself and shifting it by 90 degrees multiple times and I ask if he needs help and he said no.. He jumps out of the truck and proceeds to put the entire massive box over his head and starts walking and immediately nearly trips over my curb and at that point my Neighbor sees it and even runs over and tries to help as i'm approaching him now as well and he tries to tell me again that he "has it".. I straight up had to physically stop him and grab an end of the tv because I wasn't going to watch it smash on the ground due to his ignorance (I've never seen a Delivery guy do this with a fairly expensive item?). Thankfully, I got it in the house safe, up on the wall and was able to check it out for awhile and make sure there wasn't anything wrong with it so it ended up all being good (Such a beautiful tv/picture in person!) but damn, it was a rollercoaster ride! I bought my previous TV through Greentoe as well (LG B7) and it was flawless from order to delivery so i'm sure most wont have these extra issues but it's def. going to make me a bit more hesitant to ever use them again in the future.
OP update the price it is now $2799, my order got accepted $2740 so I pulled the trigger. I'm sure it will drop it down to $2500 but you will risk of being out of stock by then.
For me $2740 is good but I know it can reach $2600 by 1-2 months

I have an offer of $2700 in, but it doesn't look like they are gonna bite.
3 weeks into April it will be out of stock as the G4 is shipping.
How do you know? You work at greentoe? A guy from authorized dealer that works with greentoe, told me that $2899 will not drop any further, guess what? It did now to $2799.
