And the TX-NR7100 is far superior (Dirac Live) for just $75 more at Adorama.

I see $640 for the TX-NR7100 on Adorama. Can you provide a link?

Note that it seems you have to use an adorama link with the "emailprice=t" in it (like is on the SD post above) to get the $550 price. If you just go to adorama and search for it, it gives the $640 price.

Thanks! I just ordered the Denon S760H from Costco, but I'm not sure yet what I want. My Yamaha TSR700 is failing and I'm looking for a replacement.

I had the same exact Yamaha AVR and bought the Onkyo 7100 and have zero complaints so far. PlayStation five works flawlessly and in my opinion has greater picture quality then plugging it directly into my TV with zero lag.
I think your warranty would be better but that's about it I'm only running a 5.1.2 system currently and figured if I ever wanted to expand I could and build an impressive system later down the road, I think it's better to have then have not and future proof yourself. I would also look the wattage between the two, the onkyo is on par with the Yamaha and I had a Denon that was really underpowered for my system and made me regret ever buying it and Now will just collect dust when I move the Yamaha to my bedroom.
