I posted this computer last week however it went out of stock pretty quickly. It just went back in stock today(2-26-24) for those who missed out on the first go-around.
The only bad part about this deal (like the first time) is it's an online-only order. Its not available in stores.
Check out the previous posting to read the prior comments as numerous were posted - here's the previous link:

For the record, I totally agree that building your own is far more rewarding and can be cheaper (though not by as much as it used to be).
It's just slowly being taken away as a viable option when deals are few and far between. When the prices are very similar, the consideration becomes whether you want to devote the time and get exactly what you want, or concede a little and avoid the labor.

No it would not. You would have to buy an external disk drive

I bet you they are trying to move these out because of the white case...as I dont think too many customers want those... so putting together a decent set of specs in an ugly case is a way to move product... just my guess
You are right - I've been looking for the last few weeks and this one seemed to have the most bang for the buck compared to others - especially when you compare with others that DONT have a 90-DAY RETURN POLICY, AS WELL AS FREE 2ND YEAR WARRANTY. Yes, others come close but don't have those two features..
I also agree about the case.... thankfully its going under my desk...
My son told me i cannot build a computer, so i decided to prove him wrong, and without taking time to shop around, etc i built a far superior pc to this for about $1650, with an intel 14700kf processor, smaller 1tb samsung 990pro ssd, a z790 mobo with pcie 5 availability, faster ram, and if you dont like this case, il say its a nicer case.
Its not hard to build a computer, just a bit tedious. Yeah i lost the amazing costco warranty which has value, but overall it was fun to do. Just fold and stress it early and dont get upset about possible issues, it can be fixed.
I actually built a minimum of 2 PCs, ordered an asus rog mobo and aRGB didnt work and while i dont care about that it bothered me it didnt work so i ended up disassembling everything and changing to an MSI mobo which worked properly.
Use pc parts picker and take the challenge.
Edit: if you just want a pre built this is a good deal, its just a sku thats one time use as the next similar offering will be a little different so price match doesnt exist.
Also if you choose to build, review asus mobo quality, their armoury software sucks, its sucked for a long time, and you think you made a good choice due to sales, but its drinking asus kool-aid. Id reccomend anything but asus for mobo
