Totally agree with you! I have 2 from harbor freight.

I've bought numerous 85P and 88P's for family members over the past 15 years and never had anyone run into an issue with either one. 85P is ideal for all cars that are equipped with a cigarette lighter, and 88P for vehicles with much larger tires such as trucks and SUV's or someone who doesn't have a cigarette lighter in their vehicle (not aware of any common vehicles that don't have one though).
I still have an 85P that I bought somewhere around the year 2003 or so and have used it hundreds of times..... thing has never failed me. The closest thing to a problem i ever had was that i popped the fuse one time in the plug, which easily replaced in about 30 seconds without any tools needed.
That being said... i don't think this is a very slick price. These things have been around the 45-50 dollar price forever up until only very recently (inflation??). Price trackers indicate that it's been below $55 within the past year and was pretty consistently in the $45-53 range from early 2020 through late 2021.

I agree I have one that lasted me over ten years now , the harbor freight one would overheat and shutoff and eventually crapped out in less than 5 years
