Wow so much hate for these from the bleachers! Go watch some actual reviews of these and educate yourselves.

These shoes are more firm that you would think, and have a plate in them for energy return. They're incredible for running if your long distance pace is around 7-10min/mi. I have always struggled with plantar fasciitis, but I owe my current health to these shoes as the first running shoes I've ever had that my woes haven't flared up. I've now got 160mi running on these in less than two months and I recommend them to everybody that will listen.

All of that said, the new versions just came out. And you can probably find these at a B&M Nordstrom Rack for less money.

This is incredibly ignorant nonsense.

These shoes are incredible. Go to any hospital and you'll see these and Hokas have completely taken over because of how good these shoes are.

Remember Nike Shox? The springs didn't do anything, but people bought into the marketing.
Same with Nike Free, Vibram FiveFingers, etc, etc

This is just another fad, and it's already going downhill.
Reminds me of George Costanza trying to demonstrate his shoes to Foot Locker employees...

I've had three pairs of OC shoes. First pair I wore around Disneyland for 4 days solid and my feet never bothered me. I always buy the waterproof style and they are great for working out. When they start to have some wear, I use them outdoors for yardwork. I finally tossed my first pair around Christmas when they were having a sale. Nike shoes (especially shocks) are junk. No one that I know doing long distance running is wearing Nike.
I bought $30 Nike running shoes that are not teenage fueled priced at Nike factory store. Still my favorite walking and running (treadmill) shoes, foam sole, nothing fancy, durable, extremely comfortable. I wish I bought 5 pairs of those.
I also wore them to Universal Orlando, made it much easier to wait at those crazy lines. PS: Theme parks are getting out of hand with their wait times and lack of occupancy rules.

So many haters lol . Well I'm not a big fan of the company and the style either but they aren't that bad. They produce pretty good running shoes. This one more on the boring side shoes and not bad as daily trainer for the (discounted) price and the quality.

What's the recent attraction to these shoes? The honeycomb shaped soles? They are not cheap, don't look that good, especially for the $100+ tag. Do they make you run faster?
Comfort. Go to a hospital, or similar work environment where people stand and walk all day on hard floors, and you'll see a ton of On Clouds and Hokas b/c of the bug cushiony soles. Or, next time you see someone wearing scrubs in public, look at their feet. 8 out of 10 times they'll be rocking On Clouds or Hokas. I work in Healthcare and see them everywhere.

Umm, maybe you don't know anyone wearing Nikes for long distance but most major marathon wins last year were in Nike. You're not going to see Alphafly deals on here (well maybe) but I see lots of real runners wearing Nike. I ran in Invincible 2's yesterday but I don't count because I'm slow and not a real runner. 😂

Went from Nike Air Max 2017's to these and they are extremely light and literally feel like your walking on cushions. They may not look pretty, but they are damn comfortable. I bought two pair when REI had them for $85.

I also own Hoka's and these are definitely more comfortable. The biggest question on these is durability.

Without naming names. The ones that come to mind... One lives in Russia and another lives in Florida. Any others that we know about?

Also, it appears your post got a couple of thumbs downs. Fans of said politicians?

I can validate. I also struggled with plantar fasciitis this year and run daily…these shoes have been amazing, most comfortable shoes I own and they perform really well. I own 3 pairs and continue to look for deals on these shoes

Exactly. People who actually research the biomechanics of runners and how to pair them with proper running shoes know exactly why these are incredible running shoes. I'm already planning to buy next pair, in about 300 more miles.

How often are you running 10+ miles a week? Try to do a half marathon in a few different shoes and then come tell me the differences in them.

edit: I hate how much ON get. They are fantastic for long runs and have lasted me 500+ without much wear.
