You're right, I didn't see the model # change, updated my previous comments!

Looks like the 10AH one is the 'XP' version with more torque & a longer battery warranty.

Differences between Mower LM2135SP and Mower LM2156SP:
Runtime:

LM2135SP: Up to 60 minutes
LM2156SP: Up to 75 minutes
Battery:

LM2135SP: 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium™
LM2156SP: 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™
Cutting torque:

LM2156SP: 8.3 ft-lbs
Battery Warranty:

LM2135SP: 3-year
LM2156SP: 5-year with registration
I think this is a great deal on a great mower. I bought this last year when it was $699, and I didn't get the extra battery. I opened a Lowe's account to get an extra $100 off when I bought mine, which they're doing right now through 3/6 (20% off, up to $100).
Really the battery costs these days. If you take the battery out of the equation, the 10AH battery included is $500 MSRP.

MSRP the mower is $850-500 = $350.

The 5AH free battery you get with this deal is $300 MSRP.

Since the mower + 10AH is $750 (using that $350 for the mower cost).. you're paying $400 for the 10AH battery + 5AH battery which are normally $800 MSRP together.

It's 50% off batteries and they're throwing in a free mower. haha

How did you get the 20% off I opened the account for that reason but it cannot be applied it was saying "your offer has been accepted, but this purchase does not meet promotion requirements "

Never mind just realized it was last year so probably they made it more restricted

I've had my LM2135SP select cut for two years with regular weekly mows. The 7.5Ah with high lift kit and bag work fine. Extra 5Ah for backup if over an hour mow. RWD is great for old folks and I take my time, using the top left shoulder, top housing, not the deck as a guide.. for extra overlap on heavy growth. Not going to keep up with my old Honda gas but I'm much better off.

My Lowe's said they couldn't give me a partial refund for the battery. Anyone else had luck?

The Lowes 10% coupon works with the existing discount but the 20% one does not since it's already discounted. They take tax on the full amount and then credit you $74.90.

Lowe's got smarter where they required both items to be returned to get full refund and will not let you do partial refund.

It is definitely YMMV, but I was able to get the 20% off (well…up to the $100 limit) to work on this deal in Lowes by opening up a credit card in store. They offered an additional $50 off, too. Not sure what deal that was, but seemed to be some manager's option to give an extra amount for opening a credit card. Got it for $599 + tax. I think the Lowes $749 price is until 4/17.

Here is my situation, I hope someone can help me decide. I have about 4000 sq lawn of Zoysia grass. This is going to be my first mower. I understand that in the long run, a gas mower will cost less but I like the convenience of battery-powered mowers. From my research, I ended up with the 2 brands of Ego and Greenworks.

Here are my options:
1- Greenworks 80v with 4ah+2ah batteries with 4yrs warranty (Costco) (Greenworks no longer offer 2x warranty) $499 (torque about 4ft/lbs? not sure)
2- Ego LM2156SP (10ah+5ah) $750 or even LM2135SP (7.5ah+5ah) $599. I prefer the first one as it has more torque + 5yrs warranty (torque 8.3 ft/lbs and 7 ft/lbs, respectively)
3- Sometimes I see that LM2206SP (10ah) is reduced to $849 on Amazon. This can be an option. Aluminum deck and strong torque (5yrs warranty) (torque 11.1 ft/lbs)
4- I can have Greenworks 48V (2*24V) that comes with 5ah (2x) for $280 (3 yrs warranty) (torque ?) and replacement batteries are much cheaper but it is a weaker mower and I am not sure it is going to be okay for my zoysia grass.

I don't have any other tools from these brands and my lawn is relatively small but it is zoysia which is thicker. Also, I have big trees and prefer to have the ability to pick up leaves. Please share your opinions and suggestions. Thank you all in advance.

In for one. Thanks.

I just tried to cancel the 5ah battery. Amazon doesn't allow me to do so under my order history. Tried online chat, unable neither. I will try to return it anyway.

Lead time now is already this June...

Update: the mower was mailed out today. Estimate delivery next week with direct signature

There is no cancelation option until the battery is delivered. Once delivered, you should be able to see the mower and battery as separate items.

Actually, I can see 5Ah battery as a separate order right after I submit the order. Thanks for your tip!

Interesting. Where did you see that the LM2206SP (aluminum deck mower) is sometimes $849? Camel camel shows me the lowest price @ $1,199. I kind of want to get that one, but that's too much money.

Personally, I also have narrowed it down to those two brands. I'm coming from the Echo battery stuff which did well for me for maybe 10 years but is coming to end of life. I used the battery mower and the PAS attachments with a battery power head.

I'm probably going to go ahead and get the Ego battery and tool collection started via this deal.

I might just do the string trimmer and wait to try and get the aluminum deck mower if it really goes for $850 from time to time.

I want to eventually get a power head so I can use it for edging, hedge trimming, and maybe a pole saw. I haven't seen the power head with similar attachment options for green works.

I just picked up the mower from Lowe's. The battery was out of stock so they ordered it for store pick up. My question is if I don't pick up the battery then will they cancel and refund the price of the battery? Any similar experience?

LM2206SP on three occasions went down to $839 this month (the listing without 5ah bonus battery ASIN B0CQZJWRP1). I saw the last time but wasn't sure to go with Ego and the item was marked as non-returnable. That low price only lasts for a few hours. You can see it using keepa instead of three camels website.

I decided to go with Greenworks 80v for 2 main reasons. Metal Deck and importantly Costco has amazing return policies. I can return it 2 years later if I am not satisfied and no questions asked.
