These are fine little mic for its price, had em couple from spending dell rewards and gave out to some friends. No matter how much those higher end gaming headsets cost, they're always worse than having headphones and mic separately for the same price, so please buy these kinds of mic and some extras on headphones unless you really need those whatever software for those gaming headsets

Because these Mic's have a USB port that is very prone to failing. I've had 3 and all three had USB port issues all just outside of warranty. For the money you are far better off getting a Siren Mini or HyperX Solocast. The Blue snowball was the best budget mic 7 years ago but now the market is flooded with good cheap mics that don't constantly break like this one.
Condenser mics like these sound good for placing at a distance but makes your voice ends up sounding thin and room reverberations will hit the mic. There are also dynamic mics around this price that give your voice a fuller fill but you'll have to place it against your lips without turning up the gain.
Is this a real question? The same reason you'd by a 2-pack of anything else. Maybe you're buying them to equip an office. Maybe one for each of your kids. Maybe one for home and one for travel. Maybe one for you and one for your wife. There all kinds of possible reasons you might need more than one of something.
