Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.

Hello, what do you mean by reclaim old number? I got a GV number and bought the iPhone 12. Waiting to receive it now. I understand that I shouldn't delete the number and it will disappear automatically after the port disappears. Are you suggesting that the old number will up show automatically even though it's still active on Metro? Or that I need to wait for Metro to disconnect the number (after non-payment of 2nd month) and I will automatically get back the old number that I had? I liked the GV number I got so I thought the only way to get it back after Metro disconnect was to port BACK to GV (and pay the $20) before the 30 days expires.

Great for you guys that are being successful claiming this offer. I'm struggling getting any of this offer at the price pointed on this post, I tried porting a number that I bought @ eBay and at first I was unable to port in the number then I tried to place another order with the same number and the prices of the phones (G Stylus & A15) keep going 80+

For an iPhone, you can go to www.sickw.com , enter its IMEI and use the free iPhone SIM Lock function to look up its unlock status. Sickw simply querries that Apple database. You can't check the unlock status of an Android phone because they're not unlocked like an iPhone.
The reason I ask this is because I had to go in to settings on the Android phones in the past to unlock after 180 days. You don't have to physically go in to or access the settings on the iPhone to unlock it?

Did you click on the link in my post that your quoted. In that post, I explained how unlocking an iPhone is done differently from how an Android phone is unlocked. An iPhone does not have/use the Network Unlock function in its Settings.

Nope, the iPhone does not have a phone menu to request unlock. This is the only two types of phone (Google and Apple) ,the unlock process is co-managed by vendor and carrier), it should be an automatic process after 180 days of activation. I never owned an iPhone from Metro.
