If you just watch season 1 and treat it like an ambiguously ended miniseries, I think it's some of the best TV of all time. Later seasons still look slick, have good performances, etc, but they're kind of a mess in storytelling. S1 is an absolute masterpiece.

Season 4 was fine, and better than 90% of what I've seen on HBO lately. Pretty pathetic of them to wipe the show off their platform to save money for bullshit reality tv shows.

I'm ok with no resolution. If there was one, it would be universally panned anyway and I can guarantee you the comments would be much different than what you see here. It would instead be saying it's not worth investing time to watch all four seasons only to be disappointed by the terrible ending.

There isn't 4K digital for these?

I did buy it from iTunes, hopefully there is 4K in the future. This is $18 I didn't have to spend if I had redeemed my digital code on time.

season 1 was a masterpiece.

season 2 was okay.

season 3 was a disappointment

season 4 was garbage.

i tell everyone just watch the first season and you'll be fine.

In season 3 they got off the park, so you no longer have the whole Wild Wild West setting which is what appealed to me about Westworld to begin with. Instead they're in the city integrated in high society. It's hard to keep track who's really who and what the hell is going on. Like someone else said, it may as well be a different show at this point, it's confusing and boring.

Plus at the time of the Discovery takeover, they were looking for tax write-offs so even completed movies were shelved, cancelled.

I really enjoyed season 1-2. I liked season 3 but season 4 was released with very little fanfare and I totally forgot about it. And then it was pulled from Max before I got a chance to watch it.
