When they say "milk chocolate and hazelnut aromatic notes", that doesn't mean this is a flavored coffee, right?

Do they label when the beans were roasted?
No, only an (absurd) 'best by' date. I say absurd because sometimes they are almost two years out.

this top class red is my all time favorite thus far - don't miss out while it's $8/lbs.
it's probably the only lavazza worth restocking instead of trying something else.

i'm not seeing 35% Frown probably because i bought one a few months back...
Subjective of course, but Qualita Rossa is my favorite. Least fave is probably Espresso Italiano.

The beans are pretty small. It's hard to get a label on them and even if you could, you would need to peel them off of each bean before brewing.

rossa is good, but it's bland so you need more beans per cup for full flavor.
i do agree, italiano is probably one of lavazza's worst "floral" bean coffee.
if you like rossa, i would give top class red a try as it has fuller flavor notes.

Top class vs top class filtro? Which is less acidic? Is it just chocolate hazelnut vs chocolate cinamon?

Just a heads up, this is a 50/5/ Arabica/Robusta blend coffee beans. Not bad per se, just know this may taste different than 100% arabica and will have more caffeine.

Would this be suitable for "regular" coffee vs espresso? Lavazza putting espresso in the name of most of their beans confuses me a bit.

TIA

Regular one is for espresso.

Filtro is for drip & pour-over.

They're nearly identical in price with this sale, so just get the one based on how you plan to use it.

Super crema gives more crema. Top is less acidic to me. In my 1 year+ experience, it's easier to make a better cup with Top than Super Crema with Barista Express.
This is helpful. I usually get Super Crema, but I'll give this one a try.

Top Class would be less acidic because it has 50% Robusta blended in. Top Clas Filtro is 100% Arabica. For Latte or if you put milk in your coffee, 100% Arabica is better IMHO.
