your post is objectively wrong though. battery life on this model is superior to pretty much all of the competitors out there. At this price it's a bargain.

100% the 5 Pro has the best battery life ever for a Galaxy watch and getting 5 days is possible between charges, tho I generally set it to recharge on day 4. It has a bigger battery than most. I had 4 classic and it was great but only gave me a day and a half due to the battery size. Traded it in for the 5 Pro and it was a huge change. You're not going to get this type of battery life with the standard 4, 5 or even 6 models of this watch. I plan to hold onto to this one for a long while. Likely until there's another jump of battery longevity in the future.

Do we need LTE version for GPS navigation?
only advantage of LTE version is it can run by itself. meaning even if your phone is not near you still get a call on your watch while the phone is being charged far away from you.
that's about all.
i have LTE version but i only use LTE 5 to 10% of my usage since i always carry my phone.
also, you gatta pay 10bucks per month for LTE for the watch.
now having said that, i need to cancel my LTE for my watch.. (facepalm)

I purchased the watch 5 pro and returned it due to its bulkiness. Always caught on my sleeves on anything I put on. I do like the battery life and comfotrt it brings. I got the watch 6 classic and never looked back. I like the sleek design. Charging is not an issue at home and since the S24 Ultra supports backward wireless charging. I can charge on the go and just keep a small power bank as back up to charge my phone or in the car. Never have down time.

I just switched from S22 Ultra to P8 pro. Can I use this watch with Pixel 8 pro?

Samsung watches have a nasty bug with Pixel phones where they steal sound output for a second when a call is answered and then you cannot hear the caller on your phone or headset.

If I'm wearing my watch 5, every time I answer the call I have to switch to speaker on the phone and then back to headset just to be able to hear the caller.

Neither company admits this big despite tons of threads about this online without any solutions other than disabling BT on your watch.

I never had this problem with a OP phone and Samsung watch and I don't have it now while I'm trying OP watch with Pixel. So it seems pretty specific to Samsung/Pixel combo.

I have a Watch 4 I got for $60 refurb and it's ok. $200+ for a Samsung is too much IMO. It has very poor battery life, not enough to wear all the time for stuff like sleep tracking and workout tracking is very inaccurate. Not sure how much improved the 5 in but I'd avoid paying real money this brand.
Don't buy a refurb and complain about battery life.. buy new and then you have the right to complain... you pay for what you got... I am sure you got $60 value out of your watch

The GW4 is junk. If is poor at the primary purpose of health tracking and even new ones have awful battery life. Go away with your personal attack.

That seems to be pretty much the entire change from the 4 to the 5, much bigger battery.

I love my 4, the only reason I don't wear it as much is because of the battery life. If they fixed the battery life, then this should be great!

I had a 4 for a year and a half. Battery life was fine. Well over a day and a half. A watch 2 active before that. And a a gear s2 before that. I have a watch 6 now. Very little difference in battery life on any of them. The only thing that matters is how many features you leave enabled all the time. They are tiny computers with processors, blinking lights, screens, gps, cellular radios. If you need a watch that lasts longer, get a Garmin or a plain old watch. You will lose some features and/or gain in bulk BUT you will have your battery life.
