For the uninformed. I work in IT in healthcare. The test are not going to stop you from getting COVID, they will let you know you have COVID. What you choose to do with this information is up to you and, let's face it, your employer. For us it means working from home for at least the day (for a non-positive result) or working from home for at least the week (for a positive result). We care about our coworkers and have the ability to protect them from getting sick. Which in turn protects them from spreading it to their families and patients.
We are lucky enough to have an employeer that cares about spreading disease and are lucky enough to have the ability to work from home. One of my coworkers is currently working from home because he is sick and I appreciate him for it.

I've been on SD for ages and I never get why people feel the need to argue about stuff like this. If you don't want the test, think it's stupid, whatever, don't sign up for it then. If you want it, great, get it.

If you have a certain Kaiser plan, they give you home test for free. Its 4 boxes of 2pk max a month per person.

Actually the test could help stop a family member from spreading COVID to you.

Certain slickdealers have an inability to scroll past deals that aren't for them for some reason. And of course have to express their displeasure that every single deal isn't for personally tailored for them.

The last batch I received were expired & came with a note to look up the new expiration date. I'm guessing they still have a lot of these tests and they're trying to get rid of them.
