Things to note:
- Out of the box you might be disappointed, but take the time to adjust color and calibrate to something that makes you happy. I adjusted based off my Macbook Air's screen and got them to match, and it's great and vivid!
- Screen gets brighter than most in this price range (500 nits)
- Screen is very spacious. Only 4K but I set my display to (3008 x 1692) which gives me the right balance of space and detail. I love it. Better working space than my previous iMac 5k (2020) and I don't notice any downgrade in resolution.
- The webcam is garbage and I could never get it to work right. (Buy the Anker PowerConf C200 on Amazon for $50, it's great - https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Powe...B09MFMTM
PD)
- I use a USB-C hub attached to this monitor that connects my webcam, Logitech Litra Glow, and a fuller USB 3.0 hub (for an external mic and hard drive).
- The one USB-C plug from the monitor to my Macbook Air connects the power to charge, video output, and brings in all of the accessories attached to my monitor. Super convenient. I never turn the monitor off, I just lock my Macbook Air (and the monitor sleeps), or disconnect it. When I'm ready to re-dock, I just connect it again and the monitor boots up in seconds. Furthermore, if the Mac is asleep, I can just move my bluetooth keyboard/mouse to turn everything back on.
- I don't really use the "Smart TV" features of this monitor. If I want to watch something, I just pull it up on my Mac
- The speakers on this thing are... meh, to put it nicely. The monitor doesn't support audio pass-through that could find, nor does it have an audio input. I did buy the Creative Pebble USB-C ($30 in white), which is one plug for audio and power, and sounds miles better than the built-ins. This basically means when I dock my Mac now, I just plug in two USB-C plugs side-by-side. Added advantage? I can now control the volume straight from my keyboard and Mac OS settings!
- Monitor style looks really nice, very stylish.
Been using this for about 10 months and no major issues. (Occasionally I'll have to unplug/re-plug because resolution defaults to a lower scaling, but that's it)But still available at Adorama for $175(thinking of buying a second one).
Hence I said $150 + $175 = $325 in my previous post.
Bruh it's clearly a monitv.
Also- me want.
Unironically, LG is the one currently getting sued for their broken design refrigerators lol. Not to say that Samsung is much better, but both my LG fridge and washer pretty much gave out in under 5 years. You're rolling the dice with either one in terms of appliances.
I can confirm the OS/Software on these is garbage. It's painfully slow and after a recent update that added antivirus/anti-malware tools it's even slower.

Good luck.
How else do you think I calibrated the monitor in Windows? It's not just me, this monitor does a lot of things..just ok. Just sharing for people who want it for productivity that decent, it's not decent for productivity.
I will not get Samsung appliances ever again but their TV seem to last...
Oh wait, I did have to replace the Samsung One Connect box on my Samsung MU9000 TV as it failed recognizing any HDMI plug after only a year. It was just out of warranty but after many complaining and I'm sure many others failed too, Samsung sent a rep to diagnose the problem and low and behold he came with a new Samsung One Connect box that solved the problem. So scratch that too.
Really the first?
Other than my nice fridge with two ice makers. But they have fixed it repeatedly, and within two days of me calling 4 years after I bought it. And the repairs are free. So yeah I should not have to deal with it, but they fix it as they should.
