The Fog Chaser is a family favorite. Honorable mentions for Expresso roast, Extra dark Italian, and Height Ashbury. We've gone through 1000's of these pods and zero issues beyond a random grind which is ancient history when proper machine upkeep is performed. The plastic K Cups are inferior.
If you prefer ultra smooth organic roasts the Beaniac brand pods are more so than the SF Bay organic options.

I like to use French Roast when making Japanese Style Iced Coffee (JSIC) with my Keurig. I just use a large 16 ounce metal tumbler filled with ice and set the Keurig to the lowest setting of 6 ounces Strong setting.
Once the coffee finishes brewing I give a few squirts of liquid Stevia and 2 generous pours of either unsweetened almond or 2% milk. That method is the easiest and laziest way to make Ice Coffee IMO. Cold brew is the best but it takes much more effort than the JSIC method. (Japanese-style iced coffee is simply coffee that is brewed hot directly onto ice)
