This is my EDC knife for about a year and keeps a razor sharp edge with a couple stokes on the Work Sharp sharpener.. A little heavy, so you know you are deep carrying it, but nice solid lock up and great construction... definitely recommend for this price..

I got a swiss army knife (victorinox) when I was in scouts. It was kind of the standard, but this is a great knife especially for the price

they are pretty nice for EDC, slids in & out of your pocket easily but can be held by hand firmly.....I jhave a Kershaw Onion Leek which is smaller than the Volt SS and the Zing but is one of my favorite EDC knife....had to bite the bullet and grab the Volt this round.

Yeah if I had to do it over again I would get a multi-tool rather than just a big blade, which for me was even bigger than this. I'm sure in scouting there will be use for the other tools. If it's a simple one with just a handful it might even be found at this price but it wouldn't be a bad idea to spend a few bucks more for a full multitool too.

Volt/Zing SS seem like a great deal compared to Amazon but ebay shows that they average $25-$30 NIB. Still a good deal but not as amazing as the $50+ Amazon makes it seem.

Just a reminder to always shop around, especially when a deal looks amazing at face-value.

Volt was $53 at Amazon whilst Zing was 29, thus made me decide to go for the Volts instead.

Grabbed the Volt & Zing. My Leek needs to go in for warranty but I haven't made it around to stopping in. I live in Eugene, OR so one of these times I'll drop it off on my way to Portland. I'm wanting to compare the knives to the actual Leek so I had to grab em at this price.
