The pics do not do the Single barrel stain justice. It looks great in person. I have the Sand colored from Xmas 2 years ago and this was the one I wished was on sale then. All worked out as I picked up the Hollowbody in that finish last week.

Thanks for vouching for it— I was worried it looked like laminate flooring. All the pictures of Single Barrel Stain I've seen look like it's either really light (like almost an oak) or darker like a walnut. What shade did you observe?

Mine is a deep, rich, almost but not quite walnut shade.

Not a huge fan of the pick guard on this one but the boy is having fun learning some since xmas. No problems as of yet, maybe a lil buzz but I haven't done much adjustment to anything.

I'd say the biggest downside is seeing the grain mismatch on the separate boards glued up for the body, I still love the color, but if that bugs you, then you'll want a painted one instead.

The color isnt too bad in person. Its a very rich caramel color I'd say. I had to fiddle around with the truss rod and bridge and prob still could do more but out of the box it played surpisingly well. I had to clean up some markings in the binding and used 0000 fine steel wool for that which seemed to do the trick. I raised the broadtron pickup height a bit and also did the mod/hack where you remove 3 screws from each side of the pickup (google "broadtron mod") and, subjectively, it seems to have resulted in slightly more clarity of tone. This is one of my favorites and the p90/broadtron combo is amazing. I love the way the broadtron sounds, having never owned one. It rivals the Godin Stadium Pro that I recently picked up, which is currently my favorite electric out of the collection i've amassed in the past half year or so

Are these called Jr because they're smaller or are they basically standard size?

I bought the sale they had last week on the big brother of this guitar, the Streamliner Hollow Body.

The stain and hardware is pretty beautiful. My two gripes are that I'm fixing myself is that the frets were not well finished on the ends and bothers my fingers enough that I bought a fret file. I imagine this guitar is made in the same plant. Otherwise, all the other finish has been pretty good. Haven't had this issue on any other guitar I own, and my collection is about 10.

it's expensive but it does seem like a good case. I have this exact guitar and this is the only case I know to fit it. https://a.co/d/65qN77U

Thanks. I did see that this is the appropriate case for the guitar in my research, but I was hoping to find a cheaper one. It's just hard to justify paying so much for a case for such a cheap guitar. If I were more experienced and planned to take the guitar places often, I'd probably do it. I guess I'll just keep it on a stand for the time being and try to get better. Bummer that this guitar didn't fit in my strat case.

I had the same issue, and ended up going with a cheaper gator case polyfoam Les Paul style case. It's not as protective as a hard case, but as long as you're not throwing it around it should work just fine.

It is a pretty tight fit, but I was able to push some of the foam in to get it to fit better. It's a nice case, and the extra storage on the outside has come in handy.

Thanks OP. Got this one and totally agree with a previous post. The pictures don't give credit to how good this guitar looks in person.
