I think I saw it on Amazon for the same price so I believe it's been floating around this price point for a while. The lowest it has been, IIRC, is $199.99 which is what I paid. Really nice guitar but I did do some upgrades: new tuners, swapped out the broadtron for a blacktop filtertron (I definitely prefer the tone of this to the stock broadtron... p90 seems fine although it buzzes quite a lot so I'll have to try to sort that out at some point), and just installed a new TOM wraparound bridge + Xtrem Vibrato on it.
