Steamer is an additional $250
So, I get the IXEO Steamer/Steam Board concept. Why do you need the extra Steam Pro??? It says it's an Iron so I guess the sole plate also gets hot + the steam action. But going to Rowenta's website it doesn't say anything about iron plate settings for different materials (i.e. silk/poly/cotton - etc... ) It looks like the iron is interesting in that it's attached to a water reservoir - does the water actually get transferred through what looks like a power cord?????
So, I hardly Iron - but when I do, I truly need a ton of Steam, so I'm intrigued. I like the Iron Board since you can hang shirts/suits and pants to blast it with steam.
I do agree - Rowenta Irons are awesome. I have one now.
EDIT: BTW I bought this. Reviews for Iron were good on Amazon. Man - both the steamer /Board + Iron are well over $500+ separately anywhere else.
