Purchased it for $22 Sep last year. I'm happy with it with my extremely infrequent use (probably about 10 times in all this time). It has done just fine with the few envelopes and documents (5-8 pages at time) that I fed it.

The main thing I don't like is the fact that there's a whole mess of dangerous blades just under the top half. Be extremely careful when taking the top off to empty it or you'll likely get a finger sliced open. I feel they could have easily added a deeper plastic shroud or something around the blades.

I have this. Do yourself a favor and do not press your luck trying to stretch its page capacity! 😂

I have this. Bought it at the same price two years ago and running solid so far. No complains.

I've had it, for about as long (with about as much use). It actually doesn't turn on, unless the back switch is pushed in, from the basket. I found that out the hard way. So I *think* your fingers are pretty safe.

Don't really know what's going on. I see it for the sale price but when I put it in my cart it's the regular price.

Price seems to have jumped back up to $46 for me. GL to those who can still get it.

I don't even know where I bought mine. Had it for a long time. You do need to grease it up once a month from the manual. Veggie oil or shredder oil.
